WHAT IS "HIJAB HAIR"?
The flat, lifeless appearance of your hair when your hijab comes off after a long day of wear is referred to as hijab hair. Hijab hair also leads to other complications including:
- Dry or brittle hair
- Frizzy hair
- Receding hairlines
- Inability to grow your hair
The story begins like this... You've got somewhere to be. You're rushing to get ready.
"Quick! Need to wrap my hijab and head out. The hair can wait until later..."
The day passes and you keep telling yourself later, later...
Day's turn in to weeks, weeks become months and before you realise it, it's been months (or worse – years) since you've had a proper haircare routine and it's beginning to show... 😔
But where do you go from here? You don't have the time (or frankly, the money) to spend on countless hair products that may or may not work. Nor do you even know where to get started with a good haircare routine.
I know because I've been there. Often times, we forget to take care of our hair properly. As the saying goes... out of sight, out of mind!
In my search to improve the condition of my hair after years of neglect, I came up with nothing. There was no how-to videos, tutorials or product recommendations for this niche of women that I belonged to – who funnily enough needed it the most.Frustrated, I set out to gather information on nutrients and supplements that promoted beautiful hair and maintenance. After a year of researching and concocting my own haircare solutions and routines I was ready to begin development of Magic Hair Rescue.
